New Roots Dynamic makes stylish, one-of-a-kind home furniture. Dining tables, coffee tables, end tables, sofa tables. If it ends in “table” we likely make it. Every piece is handmade to be the center of the room it lives in, and no two are alike.

I’m Curtis Bennett. I was born and raised in Indiana and I studied at the Art Institute of Indianapolis. After my time there, I moved on to do work in graphic design, high end home remodeling, content creation, and real estate investing. Everything I’ve picked up throughout those years goes into the style and detail of the furniture pieces I create. This business is all of that knowledge collected in one place.

I build mostly from black walnut, a lot of it Indiana walnut. Bookmatched slabs with live edges, refined modern styling or classic rustic character, each piece has its own identification and personality. Hand polished details, and finishes built to last. I let the wood lead and follow where it wants to go. Using wood as a medium creates a unique, organic relationship with the artist.

Every piece is serial numbered and cataloged. They come with a signed certificate of authenticity showing the piece number, the date it was made, and a description of the wood used, along with any specifics. When you buy a piece from me, you own the only one like it, and the paperwork proves it.

Every purchase plants a tree. Furniture this good should give something back to where it came from, providing a lasting craft for generations to come!
